Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. Lone Star Trailer & Body, LLC manufactures and installs truck bodies from Vacuum Trailers, Belly Dump Trailers, Vacuum Truck Bodies, Portable Restroom Trucks, to Rig Vac Trailers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for building and fabricating high-quality product . This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with different materials, ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards. Duties Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using welding techniques. Operate welding equipment, including MIG, RMD, and stick welding processes. Utilize plasma cutting tools for precise cuts on various materials. Build custom parts and assemblies according to blueprints and specifications. Operate forklift safely and efficiently. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Familiarity with sheet metal work, plasma cutting, and operating forklifts. Knowledge of welding codes and standards relevant to the industry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
