Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Proper selection and combination of foundations, pumps, and related equipment for specific jobs. Knowledge of tubing hook-ups to spools and reels, hydraulic hook-ups to reels and foundations. Ability to identify and communicate problems with reels, equipment, and spools. Operate and maintain all testing equipment associated with visual and dimensional inspection (Mic's). Complete all report forms for quality assurance shipping and receiving as required. Make minor repairs to equipment, hose fittings, counters, rollers, etc. Proper execution of all procedures that pertain to used tubing and waste fluid. Proper execution of all tube cutting procedures and use of cutting torch equipment. Qualified/trained for forklift ground guide, crane rigging, and qualified to operate forklift up to 70,000 lbs. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area, utilize safe work habits. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mechanical problem-solving ability and troubleshooting is a must. Knowledge in blueprint reading and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators and various transfer gages). Must be competent in the use of basic hand tools and other tools such as torque wrenches, impact guns, hydraulic torque machines, and air tools. Must possess a basic understanding of hydraulic systems. Must be able to safely drive/operate a forklift and must be able to safely operate a crane. Must possess basic computer skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules on short notice. Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to multitask in fast paced environment. Factory environment with large range in temperature changes. Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
