$$ The Welder is responsible for following all quality procedures and regulations while welding on plates used for the assembly of railroad track panels. Strong attention to detail is required with ability to use measuring devices accurately. Education / Training
- High School diploma or GED. Qualifications and Experience
- Prior welding experience and/or certification required
- Must have experience with Mig welding
- Must pass welding test
- Must be able to stand in one place for an extended period of time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively as well as frequent twisting and bending to meet fast paced work demands
- Work is performed inside/outside and applicant must be able to withstand all weather conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively
