Job Description
If you like working with precision equipment, care about quality craftsmanship, and enjoy seeing parts come together exactly the way they should, this role is for you. As a Robot Operator, youll run our welding robot cells and play a key role in producing high-quality assemblies that meet THI standards every time.
This is hands-on work where your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and pride in quality truly matter.
What Youll DoOperate welding robot cells to produce quality welds efficiently and consistentlyVerify parts meet print dimensions before loading into the robot cellClean and prep parts and weld joints prior to weldingLoad parts correctly, ensuring proper orientation and rotation per the printPartner with the Lead for first-part inspectionsInspect finished assemblies using the assembly control plan to ensure print complianceIdentify and segregate non-conforming parts and ensure NCRs are issued when neededShare ideas for process or equipment improvements with Leads and ForemenWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED or at least 2 years of relevant experienceAbility to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, prints, and proceduresBasic math skills, including percentages, measurements, and dimensionsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with limited supervisionWillingness to work toward passing the THI Certified Welder Entry TestWork EnvironmentManufacturing setting with exposure to heat, fumes, and airborne particlesModerate noise levels typical of a welding environmentSafety-focused culture with defined quality and inspection standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsFrequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and use of handsOccasional climbing, balancing, crouching, or kneelingVision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
