Job Description

Job Title Welder Reports To Manufacturing Supervisor Job Overview Welder Fabricator mut be able to read and follow blueprints, determine material measurements and take responsibility for welding and fabrications parts to a high standard. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Weld critical components of our heavy equipment on or around jobsites.
  • Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of measuring, leveling, and handheld tools such as tape measures, squares, various grinders, saws, drills, etc.
  • Keeps the Managers informed of significant developments impacting welding/fabricating operations.
  • Fabricating and constructing metal components
  • Grinding and finishing completed products.
  • Measuring and layouts
  • Work with employees and other departments within the organization to achieve high efficiency of the company.
  • Any other task as assigned by supervisor or production manager.
  • Must have excellent housekeeping skills and maintain a trash/clutter-free workstation.
  • Other tasks as assigned or requested by the department manager/supervisor.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Qualifications
  • Must have previous experience as a welder, 3 to 5 years' experience.
  • Must have previous experience as a fabricator 2 to 3 years' experience.
  • Experience with Gas Tungsten arc (TIG) welding and Gas metal arc (MIG) welding
  • Experience with welding Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless and Aluminum.
  • Must be proficient with metal fabrication tools.
  • Must have experience with cutting and Gouging.
  • Must be able to read drawings, welding specs, work orders, and any reports.
  • A self-starter and able to complete tasks with a minimum of guidance.
  • Must be able to provide legal documents to work in the US. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Skills and Competencies
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadline

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
