Working hours are Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm, with pay depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Welding a wide variety of large metal assemblies from prints as well as from written and verbal instructions ... Operates both hand and power tools used in fit / weld area Assemble products with hand, electric and air powered tools Expected to perform all quality checks as defined in work order packet. Inspecting products using precision measuring equipment, tape measures and visual comparison. Maintain a safe environment while rigging and moving equipment and / or parts.

Working hours:

6:00 AM - 4:30

PM Skills:

Welding school diploma helpful Production weld/ fit experience is a huge plus Knowledge of algebra, geometry Working knowledge of overhead cranes and proper rigging techniques Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry and package parts and or assemblies weighing up to 50 pounds for duration of 10 hr shifts.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

6G certification highly preferred Will have to pass required weld test. Knowledge of tungsten electrode sharpening, gas flow rates, and machine settings Working knowledge of GTAW weld procedures Can read blueprints and measuring tools Please register at www.spherion.com/apply.
