Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Operator to join our Manufacturing and Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and operating machinery. Your expertise in various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure the highest quality standards are met across diverse projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale fabrication, construction, and manufacturing initiatives while honing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform MIG and stick welding to fabricate and repair metal structures and erect metal structures. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions and quality control Conduct pipe threading, sheet metal work, and assembly of mechanical components in compliance with ASME codes & standards Set up and operate cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, and other machinery necessary for lifting and positioning heavy materials Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills Extensive construction site experience with the ability to adapt to various project environments Proficiency in MIG welding, stick welding, plasma cutting, torch cutting, and welding techniques Strong blueprint reading skills coupled with an understanding of schematics for mechanical systems Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work Effective communication skills for teamwork in construction or manufacturing settings Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship!
