Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Must recognize that you are part of a team and should promote a positive work environment by leading by example. Must be self-motivated to continually work with high standard results. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions with little or no supervision. Must be familiar with all company policies and procedures as stated in the company handbook in order to maintain a fair and consistent working environment. Reflect courtesy, respect and a cooperative team attitude to all Packless personnel.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
Weld VAF body to maintain its position. Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting each order. Measuring and cutting materials to be used in each order. Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints. Set up fixtures - weld, TIG VAF's into position. Must have the ability to follow the production schedule and work with little or no supervision. Responsible for keeping up with daily production flow and needs while meeting all requirements of the product drawings. Operate assorted forklift models as needed in order to move products, parts, equipment, materials, etc. in a safe fashion. Responsible for moving loads of material safely from one process to another. Maintain equipment and report any irregularities or malfunctions prior to end of shift. Train and assist other personnel as needed. Work safely to maintain daily production quotas and reporting with a very high standard of product quality. Follow all company policies and regulations including but not limited to job-related safety, health, ISO, personal protective equipment, security, environmental procedures and policies. Perform other duties as needed but not specified in this description.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITES
Ability to follow instructions and continued training throughout employment with a desire for self-improvement. Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings. Ability to read tape measures with the same ability to read calipers and micrometers. A willingness to work any shift on any day including overtime scheduled or in an emergency. Trustworthy with ability to work with little or no supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Ability to communicate effectively with team members. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
TRAINING REQUIRED
Training will be ongoing throughout employment based on duties as assigned. Location - Waco - TX Welder
