Other duties may be assigned. Read blueprints to identify parts, layout, fit up, stitch/weld call outs, and all fabrication related processes. Tig weld stainless steel (primarily) and Mig weld. Tig weld aluminum. Carbon Mig/Tig weld Prep parts prior to fit up and weld (cut, grind, polish, roll)
Qualifications:
Certificate Program, Associate Degree, Apprenticeship Three Four Years.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, comprehend and write English.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to accurately measure with a tape measure and square to 1/32" and convert decimals to fractions. Redline Chambers uses a tier system to motivate welders to advance. Welder 1-5
Vacation:
Up to two weeks per year can be accrued
