Job Description

Performs a variety of skilled fabricating repairs and modifications to dump trucks, construction equipment and machinery Inspects, adjusts and replaces components and related parts. Perform welding and fabrication from written and oral instructions. Fits, files, grinds, aligns parts, clamps and welds. Uses primarily MiG welders to assemble components. Select type and size of rods and flux, heat range, temperature settings. May drill and tap holes in components or sub-assemblies. May perform mechanical/hydraulic/electrical assembly and installation. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Locate and pull parts Complete required paperwork
