In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding and painting tasks on various metal components, structures, and equipment. Your expertise will ensure the durability, safety, and quality of our projects, contributing to the successful completion of complex fabrication and assembly tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that demand technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. Duties Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join metal parts according to blueprints and schematics Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices to ensure precise fabrication and assembly of components Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal tools for cutting, shaping, and forming metal materials Apply high-quality paint coatings using brushes, spray guns, or other methods to protect surfaces from corrosion and enhance appearance Conduct routine inspections of welds and painted surfaces for quality assurance in compliance with ASME codes & standards Utilize rigging skills for lifting and positioning heavy materials with cranes or forklifts during fabrication or installation processes Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction sites, welding fumes, and hazardous materials Skills Proficiency in MIG and flux core welding, plasma cutting, Ability to read blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and schematics accurately Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools Knowledge of pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, sheet metal work, and assembly processes Mechanical knowledge including rigging operations with cranes or forklifts for heavy lifting tasks Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential in fabrication work Familiarity with ASME codes & standards governing welding quality and safety practices Experience working with construction materials such as steel sheets or metal pipes in manufacturing environments This role is ideal for candidates eager to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced environment where safety meets precision.
