as a Pipe Welder and become a vital part of our skilled team in Sandston, VA. We are looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering high-quality welding work.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on various pipe materials and thicknesses. Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to execute precise welds. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure weld integrity and quality. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications. Utilize welding machines and tools effectively and safely. Document work progress and report any issues to supervisors. Participate in ongoing training to enhance welding skills and techniques.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipe welding. Valid welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME preferred). Strong understanding of welding techniques and metallurgy. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
