  • Fit light to medium weight structural and sheet metal complex components.
  • Weld steel parts together using GMAW/FCAW and some GTAW. (GTAW not required)
  • Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting, band saw operation and grinding Qualifications
  • "Must" Know decimal to fraction conversions ( no exceptions )
  • "Must" Be proficient at reading a tape measure ( no exceptions )
  • "Must" Be proficient at multi-component fitting and assembly
  • "Must" Be able to work alone
  • "Must" High mechanical aptitude
  • "Must" Be proficient in GMAW on sheet metal, plates, and various structural shapes
  • "Must" Be proficient at executing welds in all positions
  • "Must" Pass the precertification company welding test
  • "Must" Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • "Desired" Four (4) years welding/fitting experience
Benefit Conditions:
