Starting at $20/hr (higher based on experience and weld test results) Position Overview We are hiring Production Welders (Level I-III) to support fabrication operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves performing various welding processes, fabricating components, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform welding using MIG, TIG, wire feed, spot welding, and oxy-acetylene torch methods Clean, grind, and finish welds to meet specifications Set up workpieces using hand layouts or material handling equipment Operate tools such as grinders, sanders, and wire wheels for finishing work Weld structural components including I-beams, frames, and fuel tanks in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Clamp, tack, drill, cut, mill, tap, and assemble parts as required Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and work instructions Inspect welds and completed work for quality and accuracy; perform rework as needed Replace welding wire and shielding gas as required Ensure proper setup and safe use of welding equipment Maintain and inspect equipment; report maintenance needs Assist with pressure testing and adjustments when required Complete assigned work within set production timelines and quality standards Record production and time accurately Report any material, safety, or quality concerns to leadership Qualifications Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred (level determined by skill assessment) Experience with welding equipment and fabrication tools Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools Basic math skills Core Skills Strong teamwork and communication Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability Able to multitask in a fast-paced setting Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Willingness to learn additional tasks and cross-train Education & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required MIG welding certification preferred TIG welding certification is a plus Vocational or hands-on welding training is beneficial We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
