Virginia Riggers, Inc. (VRI), an industrial contractor established in 1994, is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator. Based in Winchester, VA, VRI is a VOSB; family owned and operated, and we see our employees and customers as an extension of our family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and work from Blueprints, Schematics and various Assembly documents Design, Layout and Assemble various fixtures and structures according to specifications Welding experience using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW methods. Cutting experience using oxyfuel and PAC Set up and use of various fabrication machinery Operation of grinders and sanders to finish or prep parts for assembly requirements Prepare completed work for delivery Stock and organize inventory of materials Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Operate forklift and overhead cranes

QUALIFICATIONS

5 years experience in metal fabrication shop Experience with Press Brakes, Shears, Punches, Sawes, and Welding equipment High school diploma or GED preferred Valid Driver's License Must pass a drug test Must be able to stand for entire shift Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds Shop hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00 to 15:30 EST with ½ hour lunch Overtime will be required, shiftwork, holiday and weekend work may be required
