WELDERS & FITTERS NEEDED ASAP
!! We are seeking experienced Fitters/Welders to work at Metals Fabrication Company, in Airway Heights. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, fit and weld structural components, and maintain high quality standards in a production environment. Responsibilities + Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings + Fit and assemble structural steel components + Perform MIG and Flux-Core welding + Weld parts to customer and quality specifications + Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met + Maintain a safe and productive work area + Work with team members to meet production goals Requirements + MIG welding experience + Flux-Core welding experience + Structural steel fabrication experience + Ability to read blueprints and schematics + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs + Strong attention to quality and safety + Ability to work in a production environment Additional Skills + Structural steel fitting experience + 2GFCAW WABO / AWS
certification or ability to obtain + Experience welding with .045 or 1/16" wire + Experience with fabrication tools and equipment + Strong measuring and layout skills Work Environment + Large indoor fabrication shop + Team-oriented work environment + Hands-on welding and fabrication work + Fast-paced production setting + Safety-focused workplace + Opportunities for growth and advancement + Family-owned company culture Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Airway Heights, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00- $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
