Job Description
Your Day at Munson Boats Step onto a clean, organized production floor with radiant heat keeping the shop comfortable year-round. You'll join a tight 3-4 person build crew, guided by a lead supervisor, to construct a highly customized welded aluminum vessel from hull to finish components. Every day brings a new challenge—structural welds one hour, precision fit-up the next—always with craftsmanship front and center.
Our work matters:
the boats you help build serve as fire/rescue craft, research platforms, high-speed patrol assets, and USCG certified passenger vessels around the world. With all designs and CNC router cutting handled in-house—rooted in years of geometry standards and repeatable practices—you have the support and clarity to deliver top-tier results. What You'll Do Execute high-quality aluminum welds that balance strength and clean aesthetics. Fabricate and assemble hulls, decks, fuel tanks, and additional vessel structures. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence. Fit, align, and prep components to achieve exacting tolerances before welding. Maintain a tidy, safe work area and contribute to shop-wide organization. Work efficiently within a focused 3-4 person team under a lead supervisor.
