Job Description

Build What s Next with Algas-SDI At Algas-SDI, we design and manufacture innovative propane vaporization and energy solutions used around the world. For more than 90 years, we ve built a reputation for quality, reliability, and craftsmanship-and we re looking for skilled welders to join our team. As a Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and piping systems used in our products and projects. This role requires strong technical welding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards. What You ll Do Weld pipe and structural components at a journeyman level Perform GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes Complete Carbon and Stainless Steel GTAW pipe welds in the 6G position Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and mechanical drawings Perform pipe and/or structural fitting with minimal supervision Use fabrication shop equipment including Oxy/Fuel torches, plasma equipment, band saws, and hand tools Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Complete assigned tasks within established labor standards What You Bring Experience welding with GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW pipe welding Ability to pass Carbon and Stainless Steel Gas Tungsten Arc pipe weld tests in the 6G position Experience using standard fabrication shop tools and equipment Blueprint and engineering drawing reading experience Pipe and/or structural fitting experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Current Washington State driver s license required Why You ll Love Working Here Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package Stable, growing company with 90+ years of industry leadership Opportunity to work on high-quality industrial fabrication projects Team-oriented and safety-focused work environment Professional growth and advancement opportunities Join a company where craftsmanship, quality, and teamwork matter.
