Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 5:30AM-3PM (Mandatory OT on some Fridays) Job Details We are seeking a skilled Weld Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work from blueprints and schematics to locate weld points, set up fixtures, and perform high-quality welds on various assemblies. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning materials, measuring and verifying specifications, and ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards. You will also set up and maintain welding equipment and support production needs as required. Responsibilities Locate weld locations on blueprints and other schematic drawings for sub-assembly or assembly. Arrange parts and structures of common weldments, usually guided by patterns or fixtures. Verifies that layouts comply with drawings and symbols. Loads, unloads, and places into position a variety of welding fixtures, depending on the production team needs. Measures distances using precision devices. Verifies accuracy by comparing to measurement specifications. Prepares welding equipment for proper usage. Verifies proper energy sources and supplies. Prepares the layout of equipment to perform as needed. Moves equipment into proper location to maximize safety, function, and quality. Assures that welds conform to quality standards and product specifications.
Qualifications / Requirements
Basic knowledge of MIG welding techniques, including setup and operation of equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and welding symbols Strong attention to detail with the ability to take precise measurements and verify specifications Understanding of quality standards, safety practices, and continuous improvement methods Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic production or equipment issues Familiarity with general production processes and welding equipment Ability to perform standard welds and accurately lay out parts prior to welding Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Must be able to pass a weld test Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (10 panel UA) Benefits Available to
