Summary:
The Repair Cell Welder will be responsible for weld repairing various components. Welding experience is highly preferred. All Welding and grinding processes will be taught as part of the Voith training program. At Voith we are a global company with excellent wages. 16 days of PTO in first year Benefits including 401K with up to 5% match and 3% company contribution Large clean, and safe working environment Organized 5S facility Company provided uniforms, safety boot and glasses allowance Tools supplied by Voith Working shift is four 10hr days either
Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday Responsibilities:
Weld repair work on various rotors used in paper making Grinding on various rotors after weld repair has been done Some travel may be required into customer locations to assist with field work Performs other duties as assigned Highly motivated with willingness to learn Work unsupervised after training is complete
Requirements:
High School Degree or GED Manufacturing and/or Industrial environment experience preferred. Candidate must be able to use basic measuring equipment Candidate must have basic math skills Ability to work on various shifts, if required
Physical Requirements:
Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of material.
