Job Description

Integrated Process Engineers & Constructors, Inc. (IPEC) specializes in engineering, design and manufacturing of modular process systems for the pharmaceutical, biotech, beverage and food industries. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled TIG Welder. This is an hourly position that pays $25.00-$35.00 depending on education and experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced welding techniques such as TIG and MIG on various materials
  • Selecting proper tooling and fixturing required to run the job
  • Set up the welding machine to the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) specified setting to achieve the proper weld fusion and penetration in the weld joint
  • Inspect welds for defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Make required repairs as necessary to defective weld areas or defective materials
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, plus
  • 2 years of related experience OR technical school graduate specializing in welding curriculum
  • Potential candidates are required to pass a TIG weld test to be considered You should be proficient in:
  • Stainless steel TIG Welding 20 GA to 7GA
  • Working with structural material and sheet metal layouts Reading and understanding basic manufacturing mechanical blueprints
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to use lifting and moving equipment as required
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Quality oriented mindset, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to complete all tasks in a safe and accurate manner
