WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Welder / Fabricator at ASI, you'll play a critical role in constructing custom industrial equipment.
- Core responsibilities include:
- Perform MIG welding on structural steel and sheet metal components (aluminized mild steel, stainless steel, and mild steel)
- Fabricate frames, plenums, and ductwork for custom drying systems
- Rivet, drill, cut, and grind materials to meet design specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop standards, and welding instructions
- Measure and verify parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and equipment
- Support additional fabrication processes, including: o Press brake o Band saw o Plasma table o Drill press and shears
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Preferred qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Welding training (technical program) or hands-on welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, and climbing
