Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, fabrication, and break bending. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures, and ensuring all work meets industry codes and standards. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong hand tool skills, and be able to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Pay will be based on skill level. We are a small fab shop where all positions overlap with lots of opportunity to learn. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints. Perform welding tasks using mig and tig Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials. Measure dimensions accurately using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards while working on construction sites. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. Requirements Proven experience in welding, proficient in tig especially. Proficiency in using hand tools relevant to metal fabrication. Familiarity with sheet metal work is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication practices. Willingness to work on construction sites as required, adhering to safety regulations.
