Job Summary/Overview The focus of this position will be to work within the Sanitary Production area performing TIG welding. Work Schedule (4 day work week)! Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 12:30am Essential Duties and Responsibilities Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and various measuring equipment. Operate power grinders/tools, drill press, belt sander, and other miscellaneous hand tools. Interpret and manufacture to drawing specifications, customer requirements, and work order direction. Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements and inspect finished product for defects. Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures. Maintains clean and safe work area following 5S procedures as required. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities Ability to read blue prints. Proficient in using various measurement tools to establish the configuration or position of a welding plan. Ability to weld within tight tolerances. A team player with excellent communication skills. Basic computer, measurement, and math skills. Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills. Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands. Attention to detail. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. Previous experience in TIG welding of stainless steel.
