IMMEDIATELY!
Welders are responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Repairs fully all defects marked by the Line Inspector as specified by procedures and oral instructions.
  • Removes excess material on the steel castings.
  • Operates related equipment including cranes, hoists, chains, slings, forklifts to position castings weighing up to 7,000 lbs.
  • Perform work in various physical positions including standing on concrete, kneeling, bending and reaching 8-10 hours per day.
  • Perform work in heavy industrial setting with exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise and fumes.
  • Ability to wear the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required including hearing and eye protection, safety boots with metatarsal guards, welding helmet, gloves, apron, jacket and respirator.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Willingness to train.
  • Work additional hours when needed.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Follows written and oral work instructions.
  • Welding experience
REQUIRED SHIFT INFORMATION
  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:00am to 3:30pm (1st shift) & 4:00pm
  • 12:30am (2nd shift)
