Job Description
The QTI Group is seeking a 1st shift Welder to join the team of a locally owned and growing manufacturing company. This role offers the chance to work on diverse metal projects while strengthening your technical skills in a supportive environment. You will contribute to custom builds and production work that keeps each day interesting. The position features competitive pay and a great 4-day work schedule! Schedule Monday - Thursday 5:00 am - 3:00 pm Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and dimensional details Weld components according to specifications Work with a range of metals, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Lay out welded components with minimal guidance Use fixtures, gauges, and jigs to meet customer specifications Perform inspections with measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and protractors Conduct pressure and hydro testing on assigned tanks Qualifications Technical welding training or equivalent hands‑on welding experience Proficiency with MIG and TIG welding Ability to perform accurate measurements and basic math Capability to handle the physical requirements of welding work, including lifting and working at various heights #indskilled
