SPOT WELDER
Determine number of welding points and contact cycles. Regulate current and set automatic timing devices if used. Rig equipment for hold and positioning work. Change and dress electrodes. May work from drawings, specification, samples, and templates. Use rule, square and fixed gauges. Instructions given on procedures and work is subject to process and final inspection. MEC:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Ability to do basic math Be able to lift and move 50 pounds Must be able to read blueprints Displays ethical behavior and acts with integrity Reliability Ability to train, communicate, and work with others.
