Job Description
GenMet is a leading custom metal fabrication manufacturer focused on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and program Fanuc robotic welding systems . Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications . Set up welding equipment and prepare materials by cleaning, fitting, positioning, and assembling components. Plan welding operations based on part layouts, production sequences, and quality requirements. Inspect finished components using measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and quality. Troubleshoot robotic welding equipment and make adjustments to maintain production and weld quality. Perform routine preventive maintenance on welding equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow company safety procedures and quality standards. Work in accordance with applicable ISO 9001, ITAR, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements . Support production and continuous improvement activities as needed. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. 2-3 years of welding and metal fabrication experience. 1-3 years of experience operating and programming Fanuc robotic welding systems preferred.
