Job Description

Our client, manufacturing and industrial services provider is seeking a Welder 1st to join their team. As a Welder 1st, you will be part of the production department supporting the welding operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

  • Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm with OT on Fridays What's the Job?
Performs set-up and welding on a variety of weldments and structures following written "job instructions" or standardized methods and procedures utilizing fixtures and jigs. Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high-quality weldments and blades for the company's lines of commercial snow and ice control products. Perform designated maintenance functions, assume ownership for quality of weldments, participate in training, and perform daily 6S activities. Maintain safety standards and good housekeeping practices. Produce quality welded components to daily production requirements. What's Needed? At least 3 years of welding experience High school diploma or equivalent; Welding Technology Degree or Welding Technical Diploma desirable Strong basic math skills and ability to read blueprints Robotic welding experience is highly desirable Credential requirements include certifications 100005, 100006, 100025, 100037 What's in it for me?
