  • 2:30pm We are looking for a Welder and play a key role in our growing team in Oak Creek, WI.
We are seeking skilled welders with 3G welding experience who are ready to contribute to high-quality, precision-driven projects. As a welder, you'll work with heavy plate steel, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of welded components while maintaining high standards.
Structural FCAW Welder Responsibilities:
  • Welding & Fabrication:
    Perform welding operations using FCAW (flux-cored arc welding) and other techniques on heavy plate steel components
  • Blueprint Reading:
    Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings to complete projects accurately
  • Inspection & Quality Control:
    Ensure welds meet internal specifications and industry standards; conduct inspections to guarantee quality
  • Welding Positions:
    Work in multiple welding positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead), with 3G welding experience and the ability to pass a 2G weld test
  • Equipment Setup:
    Properly set up welding equipment and materials for each job
Maintenance & Repair:
Use angle grinders and other tools to prepare materials, and repair or modify components as needed Requirements for
Structural FCAW Welder:
  • 3G welding experience (in multiple positions)
  • Ability to pass a 2G weld test
  • At least 2 years of experience in welding with FCAW (.052, 1/16, 3/32)
  • Experience with heavy plate welding for structural projects
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of welding safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Comfort with standing, bending, and working in high heat or outdoor environments
  • Welding certification (AWS, ASME, etc.) preferred
  • Previous experience in industrial, commercial, or energy sectors is a plus
  • Familiarity with welding equipment and tool maintenance preferred IND159
