Keep reading. TechniBlend is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stainless Steel Sanitary Tube and Pipe Welder to join our fabrication team. This position involves precision welding, tube fitting, and mechanical assembly of sanitary process systems and equipment, primarily for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. The ideal candidate will have experience working with stainless steel, TIG welding, and assembling hygienic equipment to high sanitary standards (e.g., 3A, ASME BPE). Are you passionate about this work? TIG weld sanitary stainless steel tube and pipe in various positions (1G-6G), ensuring full penetration and compliance with sanitary specifications. Fabricate and assemble components for process systems and skids including tanks, pumps, valves, and instrumentation. Read and interpret technical drawings, isometric sketches, and P&ID schematics to determine fabrication and assembly steps. Cut, deburr, and fit tubing using saws, tube notchers, orbital welders, and hand tools. Perform precision layout, tack welding, and alignment of components to tight tolerances.
Grind and polish welds to meet sanitary and cosmetic standards (ra 32 µin when required). Maintain clean and organized workspaces, ensuring compliance with 5S and safety protocols. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and QA to meet project specifications and delivery timelines. If this sounds like you, we want to connect!
