Custom Metal Fabrication Specialist & TIG Welder - 4x10 Schedule ($28/hr + Profit Sharing) Up to $28.00 per Hour + Profit Sharing • West Bend, WI Area • 4-Day Work Week
COMPENSATION
Starting Rate of $26.00 - $28.00 per Hour ($54,080 - $58,240/year baseline) + Corporate Profit Sharing + 90-Day Performance Review with Potential Raise + Annual Increases.
WORK SCHEDULE
2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) | Fixed 4-Day Work Week (Monday - Thursday) | Enjoy a Guaranteed 3-Day Weekend Every Week.

EXPERIENCE DEPTH

US Citizen or Green Card holder residing within a comfortable daily commuting distance of the Jackson / West Bend, WI area. Responsibilities Perform Precision Welding:
Execute high-quality TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications, structural components, and prototypes for medical, printing, and packaging applications.
Interpret Complex Engineering Blueprints:
Analyze detailed manufacturing prints, engineering drawings, and structural weld symbols to ensure 100% part accuracy and fit-up.
Dial In Equipment Parameters:
Set up and adjust welding machines, gas mixtures, amperage, and heat parameters to meet strict
ISO 9001
2015 quality standards.
Layout & Fit-Up Assemblies:
Measure, position, align, and fit complex sheet metal and structural components prior to final welding.
Material Handling & Rigging:
Safely utilize overhead bridge cranes and forklifts to position, flip, and transport large weldments through the shop floor.
Collaborate & Optimize:
Work alongside a close-knit team of experienced fabricators and shop floor leads to resolve design challenges and optimize custom job runs. Requirements 5+ Years
TIG & MIG
Fabrication Depth:
Hands-on TIG and MIG welding experience operating inside a job shop or custom metal fabrication environment.
Blueprint & Weld Symbol Mastery:
5+ years of experience reading complex blueprints and accurately interpreting structural weld symbols.
Reliable Attendance & Punctuality:
A solid work history demonstrating exceptional daily punctuality, accountability, and commitment to team goals.
Physical & Material Handling Capabilities:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and prior experience operating overhead bridge cranes and forklifts.
Employment Stability:
A strong track record of career longevity and multi-year tenures with previous employers.
Location & Legal Authorization:
US Citizen or Green Card holder residing within a daily driving radius of the West Bend / Jackson, WI area.
Bonus Skills Exotic Alloys Experience:
Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel, aluminum, or thin-gauge sheet metal for sanitary or medical applications.
AWS Certifications:
Active or past American Welding Society (AWS) structural or pipe welding certifications.
Custom Layout Skillset:
Advanced manual shop math and layout capabilities for ground-up prototype builds.
