Job Description

In this position, you will read and interpret bill of materials and blueprints to TIG weld flexible exhaust components. Welders are responsible for the fabrication and welding of carbon and stainless-steel tubing, pipe, corrugated and braided hoses. The type of welds this position is responsible for performing are butt joint welds, roots and covers (full penetration welds), air/watertight welds, and purge welding. The welding techniques include using a turntable as well as free-hand welding. Progression from Level I TIG Welder to Level III TIG Welder reflects increasing skill, responsibility, and leadership opportunities.
