Welder/Fabricator | $20-$28/hr | Growing Manufacturing Company | Beckley, WV A well-established manufacturing company in the Beckley, WV area is seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on custom metal fabrication projects in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment. Candidates with strong blueprint reading skills and experience with welding and fabrication equipment are encouraged to apply. Job Summary The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating metal components, and performing high-quality welds to support production operations. This individual will work closely with team members to ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules. Responsibilities Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components according to specifications. Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, presses, and cutting tools. Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy. Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools. Maintain a safe and organized work area. Follow all company safety and quality standards.

Qualifications Required:

2+ years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings. Ability to use measuring tools and perform accurate layout work. Proficiency with MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Preferred:

Experience fabricating structural steel, industrial equipment, or custom metal products. Welding certifications. Experience with stainless steel and aluminum fabrication.
