Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of various fabrication techniques, as well as proficiency in using tools such as calipers and micrometers. Responsibilities Fabricate metal components using various welding techniques and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Operate machinery such as press brake machines, drill press, saws, and torch tables as required for fabrication. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards throughout the fabrication process. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Requirements Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with sheet metal. Familiarity with tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication. Ability to adhering to safety protocols at all times. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills in machining and fabrication processes.
