Job Overview We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated Experienced 6G Welder to become a part of our dynamic manufacturing fabrication team. In this capacity, you will be tasked with executing intricate welding assignments on projects that necessitate precision, technical proficiency, and strict adherence to safety regulations. Your knowledge of various welding techniques, blueprint interpretation, and fabrication will guarantee the successful completion of high-quality metal assemblies. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage in challenging projects that require a proactive mindset and a dedication to craftsmanship. Responsibilities Experienced 6G Welders must exhibit proficiency in 6G fixed-position welding using advanced techniques such as MIG, TIG, and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) to meet project specifications. Candidates who excel in this position should have the capability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to perform welds accurately on sheet metal, piping, ductwork, and fabricated components. Experienced 6G Welders should be skilled in utilizing hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and rigging equipment to prepare materials for welding and assembly. Successful candidates are expected to adhere to ASME codes and standards while rigorously following safety protocols in manufacturing environments. Collaboration with team members is anticipated to enhance assembly, machining, soldering, and the application of mechanical expertise. Experienced 6G Welders are also required to maintain a clean and organized workspace while documenting their work progress through detailed reports and logs. Experience Candidates are required to have proven experience as a 6G Welder, supported by a strong background in manufacturing. Qualified 6G Welders should demonstrate extensive knowledge of MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and press brake operation, as well as proficiency in various other welding methods. It is crucial to be skilled in reading blueprints and interpreting schematics for complex metal fabrications. A mechanical aptitude is necessary, along with basic math skills essential for precise measurements and calculations.
