Deli Clerk Duties and Responsibilities ? Greet and Welcome patrons and provide the highest level of customer service. ? Always maintain a polite and courteous attitude with all members, guests and co-workers. ? Operate the deli counter. ? Maintain supplies at an optimal level. ? Records all charge tickets using point of sale software. ? Keep deli area neat, clean, well-lit and comfortable. ? Assist in other areas of marina when possible ? Report to work on time and in uniform for scheduled hours. ? Perform opening and closing procedures. ? Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills and qualifications ? Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate verbally ? Great customer service skills including listening carefully and exercising patience. Physical Requirements This position requires complete mobility. Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk a minimum of 8 hours daily and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
