Marina Manager Department:
Property Position Reports to: General Manager OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Marina Manager. What will you be doing most days? Marina Operations Manage daily marina operations, including slip assignments, dock management, and facility upkeep Coordinate arrivals and departures of transient and annual tenants Ensure marina safety, cleanliness, and overall operational readiness Maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including City ordinances, environmental requirements, and agency guidelines (e.g., DEP, FWC) Conduct routine inspections of docks, equipment, and marina facilities to ensure safe conditions Provide general navigation guidance and respond to boating-related inquiries Tenant & Guest Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with annual and transient marina tenants Collect and track lease payments, ensuring timely billing and follow-up Serve as the primary point of contact for marina-related questions and concerns Greet and welcome guests, delivering a high level of hospitality consistent with hotel standards Retail & Sales Management Oversee marina retail shop operations, including merchandising, inventory, and staffing (if applicable) Drive retail sales through product selection, promotions, and guest engagement Maximize revenue from slip rentals and marina services Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to increase profitability Administrative Duties Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries related to marina services, availability, and navigation Maintain accurate records of leases, reservations, and transactions Prepare reports on marina occupancy, revenue, and retail performance Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience Qualifications Previous experience in marina operations, hospitality, or retail management preferred Strong knowledge of boating, marina procedures, and basic navigation Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficient in basic computer systems and POS software Strong organizational and financial management skills Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to stand, walk docks, and lift moderate weight as needed Travel Requirements This position would require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
