Job Description

We need an experienced marine electrician to handle wiring and systems installs on our aluminum boat builds. If you've run harnesses, terminated panels, and commissioned systems on working vessels, we want to talk to you.
THE WORK
Electrical Systems:
Wire and terminate 12V/24V DC systems, AC shore power, battery management, and charging systems. Panel builds, circuit protection, and clean harness routing are the daily work.
Systems Integration:
Install and hook up electronics, navigation equipment, pumps, lighting, and helm controls. Experience tying multiple systems together on a new build is a big plus.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using meters, wiring diagrams, and common sense. You should be able to trace a problem without replacing parts at random.
Documentation:
Label everything. Follow wiring diagrams and maintain clean, traceable work that the next person can understand.
Physicality:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle 10-hour shifts. Expect to work in tight spaces.
SCHEDULE & PAY
Hours:
4-day workweek (Mon-Thu), 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
Breaks:
Two paid 15-min breaks and a 45-min lunch (15 mins of the lunch is paid).
Pay:
Starting at $32.00/hr for qualified candidates, with room to grow based on experience and performance.
REQUIREMENTS
Hands-on marine electrical experience, not residential or automotive. You should be comfortable with DC and AC systems, able to read and work from wiring diagrams, and capable of full system installs from rough-in to commissioning. ABYC knowledge is a plus. Reliability and clean workmanship are non-negotiable.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$32.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location:
In person
