Job Description

Insetta Boatworks is looking for an experienced Marine Rigging Lead to join our team building state-of-the-art foiling catamarans. As the technical authority for our Rigging Department, you'll lead a skilled crew through all aspects of rigging, electrical, and mechanical installation on new builds — setting the standard for quality, safety, and craftsmanship. Oh, and we run a 4-day work week — so you'll have plenty of time on the water, with the family, or wherever the weekend takes you. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of rigging technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and craftsmanship Plan and prioritize daily workflows to keep production on schedule across multiple concurrent jobs Perform and oversee complete boat rigging, including hardware installation, wiring, electronics, motors, fuel systems, and plumbing on new builds Operate hand and power tools — drills, grinders, and specialty fixtures — with precision and care Uphold all safety and quality standards, including proper chemical handling and PPE protocols Collaborate closely across departments, bringing sharp attention to detail and a strong team-first mindset
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on marine rigging experience Proven ability to lead a crew and manage multiple jobs simultaneously Solid mechanical background with hands-on wiring experience (12V DC required) Clear communicator who can follow and relay both verbal and written instructions NMMA Certification is a plus High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Physical Requirements Candidates should be comfortable working 10+ hour shifts that involve standing, bending, and reaching, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a production environment — not climate controlled — so a resilient, hardworking attitude goes a long way.
