Maritime Field Service Technician (Small Craft / Waterfront Operations) Port Hueneme, CA Full-time Full-time Maritime Field Service Technician (Small Craft / Waterfront Operations) Ventura / Port Hueneme, CA Full-Time Active Secret Clearance Preferred About the Role Anchor Innovation is seeking a hands-on Maritime Field Service Technician to support small craft and emerging maritime operations in Ventura / Port Hueneme, CA. This is an operational waterfront support role focused on maintenance, troubleshooting, launch/recovery operations, and direct fleet support. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating independently in dynamic environments, solving problems without heavy oversight, and supporting evolving maritime capability alongside operational units. This is not a purely administrative or office-based position. Candidates should expect a mix of waterfront operations, troubleshooting, maintenance support, operational coordination, and occasional travel in support of ongoing mission requirements. Responsibilities Support daily waterfront operations involving small craft and unmanned surface vessels Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on maritime systems and support equipment Assist with launch, recovery, fueling, inspections, and operational readiness Support preventative and corrective maintenance efforts Coordinate with operators, technicians, contractors, and Navy personnel during ongoing operations Document maintenance actions, discrepancies, and operational issues Support field testing, training evolutions, and distributed maritime operations Operate effectively in fast-moving operational environments with evolving requirements Required Qualifications Active Secret Clearance Valid U.S. driver's license Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems in dynamic operational environments Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting ability Experience supporting maritime, expeditionary, waterfront, or small craft operations Ability to work outdoors in maritime environments for extended periods Ability to lift and move equipment associated with waterfront operations Preferred Qualifications Experience operating independently in dynamic operational environments Experience supporting distributed or forward-deployed maritime operations Mechanical, electrical, or marine systems experience Experience operating or maintaining small craft USCG 50-ton or 100-ton license Prior military, contractor, OEM field support, or waterfront maintenance background Relevant Operational Backgrounds May Include U.S. Navy USVRON or
