Job Description
Position Overview Kansas Christian Home is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Department Assistant to support our marketing and outreach initiatives. This role requires someone who can take direction but also work independently, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work. The assistant will play a key role in promoting our mission, engaging with donors and the community, and ensuring the success of events and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation:
Capture candid photography and videography for marketing campaigns, events, and social media.Donor & Client Outreach:
Assist with donor relations and new client engagement through mailings, phone calls, and follow-ups.Graphic Design:
Create and edit digital and print materials including flyers, social posts, newsletters, and promotional pieces.Event Support:
Work at public events representing the organization, helping with setup, promotion, and onsite photography.Administrative Support:
Complete marketing-related tasks and assignments as directed, with flexibility to take on additional duties as needed.Project Management:
Work independently on assignments while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Basic to intermediate experience with photography, videography, and editing tools. Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable making phone calls and interacting with donors, clients, and the public. Availability to work some evenings and occasional weekends as scheduled. Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to shifting priorities.Schedule Hours:
10-15 per week with flexibility, including some evening work (known in advance).Job Type:
