Marketing Assistant

As a Marketing Assistant / Graphic Designer, you will support our marketing efforts by creating visually appealing graphics, assisting in campaign development, and managing various marketing tasks. This dual role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and strong communication skills to effectively contribute to our marketing initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

• Create visually compelling graphics for digital and print materials, including brochures, social media posts, email campaigns, and website content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop branding guidelines and maintain consistent visual identity across all platforms.
• Assist in the design and layout of promotional materials and presentations.

Marketing Support:

Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and events. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for engagement. Help manage the company's social media accounts, including content creation and scheduling posts.

Administrative Tasks:

Support the marketing team with administrative tasks, including organizing files, tracking project timelines, and maintaining databases. Proofing projects is essential to ensure accuracy and quality, allowing for a thorough review of content and design before final approval and distribution. Prepare reports on marketing performance and assist in analyzing campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Experience in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field is a must. Bachelor's Degree in related field or relative experience may be substituted. Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g.,

Adobe Creative Suite:

Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Canva. Experience with Shopify and/or Omnisend is a plus. Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required.

Pay:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
