Marketing Communications Specialist Entry Level Position Overview Arthrex-Dallas is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Specialist to join our company. This entry-level position serves as a communications and marketing bridge for the President and executives, providing support across social media, communications, marketing initiatives, and customer-facing activities. The ideal candidate will combine strong communication skills, marketing acumen, and social media expertise with the ability to support high-level executives and engage directly with customer executives and physicians. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for healthcare marketing and communications to grow their professional career within a innovative medical device company. Main Objective To provide integrated marketing communications and administrative support to the President and senior leadership while managing social media, organizing marketing content, and serving as a key point of contact for customer-facing communications with physicians, surgeons, and healthcare executives. This position will support the creation and execution of strategic marketing initiatives while maintaining a professional and responsive presence across all communication channels.Requirements:
Presidential & Executive Support Provide administrative and communications support to the President and executive leadership Manage communications calendars, scheduling, and coordination of high-level meetings and events Prepare meeting notes, reports, and executive communications Assist with company-wide communications and strategic messaging initiatives Social Media & Content Management Develop, schedule, and post engaging social media content across multiple platforms Create and edit compelling social media copy and highlights that align with brand voice Manage content calendars and publishing schedules for company social media accounts Engage with audience comments and manage community interactions on social platforms Monitor social media analytics and trends to inform content strategy and measure engagement Marketing Communications & Content Development Participate in creative planning and brainstorm innovative ideas for digital campaigns Support customer relations initiatives, including managing industry and patient educational opportunities and media monitoring Assist in editing marketing copy for various channels and communications Support the creation of digital marketing materials and visual communications Maintain content libraries and organize marketing assets for easy retrieval and distribution Customer & Executive Engagement Serve as a professional point of contact for communications with customer executives and physicians Support event coordination and management, including meeting logistics and communications Prepare professional correspondence and communications on behalf of company leadership Assist with planning and execution of customer meetings, webinars, and networking events Project Management & Organization Triage and manage incoming requests using project management systems Maintain detailed calendars, timelines, and project tracking documentation Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Medical Education, Sales and other departmentsKnowledge, Skills & Competencies Communication & Writing:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in AP Style writing and content editing Ability to communicate professionally with executives and external customers Ability to translate technical information into accessible, engaging contentSocial Media & Digital Marketing:
Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook) and best practices Understanding of social media analytics and metrics Content creation skills and ability to develop engaging, on-brand content Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practicesTechnical & Organizational:
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent organizational and project management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Familiarity with social media management platforms preferred Video editing experience preferredProfessional Qualities:
Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Coachable, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies and platforms Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sales & Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field required 1-2 years of marketing, communications, or social media experience (or equivalent internship/project experience) preferred Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare marketing preferred Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams Proven portfolio or examples of marketing/communications work Work Environment & Requirements Full-time position based in Grapevine, Texas Must be available to work flexible hours to support executive needs Travel may be required to attend company events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed Incidental Duties The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job.
