Job Description

The Marketing Director is responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, revenue growth, and long-term brand equity. This leader will oversee brand strategy, integrated marketing plans, promotional programs, digital presence, customer communication, and team development across the organization. The role requires a visionary, data-driven, strategic leader who can anticipate market trends, translate business strategy into actionable marketing plans, and inspire high-performing teams and integrating marketing needs in the various business aspects at Weaver's Orchard.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. 7-12 years of progressively responsible marketing experience, including senior management leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general office software Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Proven experience managing marketing teams, strategic planning, and large-scale campaigns. Experience in CRM/email marketing and digital marketing best practices. Industry-specific experience (if applicable) is beneficial. Strong strategic mindset and ability to translate business objectives into marketing action. Analytical and data-driven; able to translate metrics into actionable insights across departments. Creative thinker with innovative problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines. Customer-centric mindset and commitment to service excellence. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong project management and prioritization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership, customer service, and team-building abilities. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies and annual marketing plans aligned with company business goals. Lead brand strategy development, ensuring consistency across all channels. Create integrated brand and consumer-driven promotional plans in partnership with business goals. Forecast market trends, competitive shifts, and growth opportunities using research, analytics, and KPIs. Oversee marketing calendar planning, execution, and performance measurement. Allocate resources and prioritize marketing initiatives across the organization. Maintain and enhance brand presence internally and externally. Oversee digital marketing, including website management, email/CRM, social media, content, and advertising. Direct creative campaigns and multi-channel brand expression (social, email, PR, print, website, advertorial). Ensure social content aligns with brand voice, marketing calendar, and business goals. Build relationships with partners; support retailer and community engagement programs. Maintain marketing materials, ensuring proper quantities and alignment with brand standards. Lead, manage, and develop the marketing team, including managers. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate marketing staff; support professional development. Foster a culture of creativity, excellence, and customer-first thinking Create, manage, and oversee the marketing budget. Report regularly on marketing ROI, campaign performance, revenue growth, and KPI achievement and make recommendations as needed. Coordinate special projects or initiatives assigned by senior leadership. Collaborate with senior executives on organizational growth strategies. Collaborate with events manager to plan and execute internal and external marketing events, capturing new leads and tracking ROI at events. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule & Structure:
This is a part-time, leadership position, on-site, year-round position based on our market office. Work hours and responsibilities will vary by season, with increased demand during our peak months. From late summer through the fall; availability for at least three our of four Saturdays per month is required. While most work will take place on-site during regular market hours, there may be opportunities to complete certain tasks remotely once appropriate communication tools and workflows are in place.
