Duties Help Plans, Executes, Evalues and Manages Marketing Program Develops professional marketing and promotional plans for regional Community Programs on-going and one-time programs and/or events. Uses established real-world marketing practices to initie and complete plans. Plans may be written individually or in cooperion with other marketing or program staff. Make presentions of marketing and/or promotion plans to groups or individuals, possibly up to and including Program Managers and Navy Senior Leadership. Develops and "sells" creive promotional options for programs. In partnership with programmer, determines target market. Establishes and meets deadlines in conjunction with marketing plans. Establishes and maintains regularly scheduled meetings, continuous liaison with managers and key personnel to gher informion on programs, services and/or events for authorized prons. Learns business principles of and helps define the particular marketing needs for each facility or program. Develops recommendions and plans addressing topics such as increasing sales or pronage, awareness, customer services sisfaction. Develops and monitors tracking methods for marketing calls, marketing requests and recommendions/outcomes. Is sensitive to building excellent relionships utilizing outstanding customer service skills. Conducts and coordines marketing analysis, da ghering and tabulion by using a variety of survey tools (e.g., Google Analytics, MIS/POS informion, customer suggestions/comment cards, paper surveys, phone interviews, focus groups, town meetings, etc.). Conducts special project research as directed. Prepares merial the department level for the purpose of determining customer needs and desires. Interprets research findings, summarizes, makes recommendions and presents to a variety of audiences. Utilizes marketing tools to publicize and encourage pronage/use of program and facilities. This is accomplished through stregic deployment of advertising campaigns th may include, but are not limited to: email, websites, presentions, speeches, publicions, official message traffic, banners, printed merials, and other promotional means. Develops effective distribution plans and ensures posted informion (print or electronic) remains current and timely. Maintains distribution points to ensure they remain eye cching and free of clutter. Responsible for disseminion of informion installion level. Ghers informion, completes marketing requests and distribution plans fully, submits and monitors progress through FFR Support Office Visual Informion Specialists. Develops and maintains effective tracking tools to ensure marketing deadlines are met. Acts as point of contact for proofs requiring manager approval and is liaison between program manager and assigned Visual Informion Specialist. Conducts installion level (and times regional) public relions activities. Administrive Duties Handles administrive duties including researching and ordering approved equipment, supplies and promotional merials, provides input for annual budget, tracks credit card purchases (if applicable), ensures policies and procedures are followed Tracks supply inventories and maintains security of office, supplies and equipment. Writes and proofreads correspondence, memos and email. Responds professionally and promptly to email and phone messages. Maintains files and records as required including photo libraries and media archives. In coordinion with the regional marketing director, may be assigned to develop and dissemine regional marketing plans and campaigns. May be required to work periodically various regional sites in addition to assigned locion. Maintains and updes annual installion level Quality of Life Programs event/program calendar and stregic plan. As directed, may assist the Commercial Sponsorship Coordinor in ghering event informion, writing solicition merials or event fact sheets, and after-action summaries. May take the lead on particular marketing projects of a regional nure th may include website management, marketing training, regional newsletters, etc. Provides Customer Service May develop or direct setup of exhibits and/or displays for a variety of events or programs. May coordine photo enlargements, display merials, etc. Staffs displays on direction of regional marketing director. As directed, may collabore with approprie personnel to arrange video production services. Dissemines MWR, FFSC, or CYP provided videos and/or CD's to widest audience and approprie events. Qualificions A minimum of three years of experience in the marketing field or reled area OR a bachelor's degree in marketing, communicions, public relions or a reled field and one year of experience in marketing (or reled field) is preferred. Knowledge of all phases of marketing and communicions, including principles, methods, practices, trends and techniques. Ability to gher and effectively organize informion. Must possess proven ability to analyze business needs and develop marketing plans and recommendions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to solve problems with skill, tact and resourcefulness and effectively carry out various projects independently, handle problems and divergences - within policy and accepted practices - when they occur. Ability to communice effectively both orally and in writing. Skill and ability to market and promote programs and motive prons. Computer proficiency in various software to include but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer. Should possess solid organizional skills and be detailed oriented. Must be able to handle multiple projects within deadline. Educion Proof of educion is required if qualifying based on educion and experience.
