- Maintain and evolve the organization's visual brand across all platforms (web, social, print, and physical spaces).
- Design high-impact marketing materials, including community toolkits, print signage, and social media content.
- Translate complex community data, goals, and feedback into beautiful, easy-to-understand infographics and visualizations.
- Create visual storytelling of our community impact through photography and/or short-form video content.
- Identify and recruit community partners (non-profits, local businesses, and influencers) to expand our reach.
- Act as the primary point of contact for community members, ensuring their voices are reflected in our visual and strategic output.
- Plan and execute community events that feel "on-brand" and welcoming.
- Maintain a visual social media calendar that balances promotional posts with community partnership and mission storytelling.
- Interview partners and community members to create "Success Stories" featuring professional photography and layout design.
- Assists with the Goodwill Shoe Program territory wide.
- Works with marketing team and cross-departmental teams to attend special events.
- Represents Goodwill in the public media as needed.
- Provides support to departmental team members regarding media inquiries and requests for presentations and tours.
- Regularly travel to Goodwill locations or special events to promote and support marketing initiatives (including attendance at job fairs or marketing events on occasional evenings and weekends).
- Assist in printing marketing materials and completing marketing requests submitted by departmental team members.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience with graphic design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar programs.
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok) with experience creating engaging, brand-aligned content; familiarity with current trends preferred.
- Strong writing skills; experience in creative content development or journalism needed.
- Must pass acceptable background check, possess valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Event planning or coordination experience preferred but not required.
