PROMOTIONAL SELECTION PROCESS ELIGIBILITY
In order to participate in a promotional examination an applicant must meet the following requirements at time of application: Have permanent status in the classified service at the City of Napa. Have received an overall satisfactory rating on most recent evaluation report. Be receiving a salary less than the salary of the position for which the exam is given. Possess the minimum qualifications of the class. This recruitment and examination is being conducted to fill one (1) vacancy and may be used to fill future similar vacancies as they occur during the active status of the employment list. The active status of this employment list will be for six (6) months unless abolished sooner or extended beyond that date in accordance with the Civil Service Rules.MISSION STATEMENT
