Job Description
FamilySearch International, the largest genealogy organization in the world, is looking for a qualified intern to join our Paid Advertising team. This position will report to the Paid Advertising Manager. This position will support the organization by assisting in the execution of paid advertising campaigns, creative management, and pulling digital advertising reports as needed. This position will work with multiple levels of the organization. You will work within Meta ads manager, the Google Ads platform, Adobe Analytics, Microsoft PowerBI, and third-party apps. Working toward or recently finished a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related. Understanding of digital advertising platforms, including Meta ads manager and Google ads. Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages with limited supervision. Education or work experience with data analytics programs such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Adobe Analytics is a plus.
SPECIFICS
This position will be in person up to 4 days a week. Remote work flexible. Occasional on-site meetings will occur. This will be an internship limited to up to 1-year. Qualified candidates will be expected to work no more than 40-hours a week primarily during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexibility can be coordinated to accommodate for school schedules. Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter. Along with the advertising agency, assist with the execution of digital advertising campaigns on various advertising platforms, including Meta and Google. Manage the creative production of digital advertising images and copy, including collecting feedback and edits, and getting certifications and approvals to run all ads. Help manage the relationship and work of the advertising agency. Create regular reports on PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets report on performance of advertising efforts, audience performance, and creative performance. Request and manage translation requests for upcoming creatives and ad copy. Support various global homeland regions in the execution of localized digital advertising campaigns, including audience building, campaign building, and campaign optimization. Communicate and collaborate with homeland marketing managers, outside agencies, and executive teams to increase digital advertising performance.
