We are seeking an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer who is ready to lead this next chapter. The Opportunity This is not a traditional CMO role. As Chief Marketing Officer, you will be the chief storyteller, strategist, growth architect, and creative visionary across our entire portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of multiple iconic brands while driving measurable business results across retail, e-commerce, and emerging channels. You will be empowered to challenge convention, reimagine brand positioning, build best-in-class marketing capabilities, and create breakthrough consumer experiences. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic vision and operational excellence. We are seeking a leader who can move seamlessly between boardroom discussions and tactical execution. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position based at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available. Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Marketing Leadership Develop and execute the overall marketing vision and growth strategy for Kar Eve Beauty Group. Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, helping shape company strategy and priorities. Build a high-performance marketing organization focused on accountability, innovation, speed, and measurable results. Brand Strategy & Portfolio Management Lead brand architecture, positioning, messaging, and long-term growth strategies across all portfolio brands. Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion, brand revitalization, and new consumer acquisition. Ensure consistency of brand identity while preserving each brand's unique heritage and consumer connection. Performance & Growth Marketing Drive profitable growth across DTC and retail channels. Oversee paid media, search, social, CRM, lifecycle marketing, affiliate programs, and customer acquisition initiatives. Improve customer lifetime value, retention, and marketing efficiency. Establish rigorous KPI tracking and ROI measurement frameworks. Digital Commerce & Consumer Engagement Partner with e-commerce and sales teams to accelerate online growth. Enhance consumer journeys across websites, marketplaces, and social platforms. Leverage data, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve customer experiences and conversion performance. Product Launch Excellence Partner closely with R&D, Product Development, Sales, Operations, and Finance to bring innovation to market successfully. Lead integrated go-to-market strategies for new product launches, category expansions, and brand transitions. Ensure launches are supported by compelling storytelling, consumer insights, and commercial objectives. Retail & Omnichannel Marketing Develop retailer-specific marketing strategies that support growth with key accounts. Collaborate with sales leadership on customer presentations, retail programs, and shopper marketing initiatives. Ensure compliance with retailer requirements while maximizing brand visibility and performance. Team Development & Agency Leadership Lead, mentor, and inspire internal marketing professionals. Manage relationships with external agencies, creative partners, influencers, and media organizations. Recruit and develop world-class marketing talent capable of supporting future growth. QualificationsRequired 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within beauty, skincare, personal care, consumer packaged goods, wellness, or related industries. Proven success leading multi-channel marketing organizations. Strong track record of driving revenue growth through brand building and performance marketing. Experience managing significant marketing budgets and measuring ROI. Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams. Strong analytical capabilities combined with exceptional creative instincts. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Preferred Prior experience as a Chief Marketing Officer, SVP Marketing, VP Marketing, or equivalent executive role. Experience managing multiple brands within a portfolio environment. Experience working with both prestige and mass-market retail channels. Deep understanding of beauty and personal care consumers. Experience scaling e-commerce and direct-to-consumer businesses. Pay:
$170,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
